Biography

I grew up in Mission, British Columbia. I attended the University of Victoria for my undergraduate degree in English and History, and continued into the Education program after graduation.
My first 8 years of teaching were spent in Fort McMurray teaching Language Arts and Social Studies in both Junior High and Senior High School. Since moving to Grande Prairie, I spent two years working in grade 7 and 8 at St. Kateri, and joined St. John Paul II when it opened as a grade 8 Pod teacher. This year I am teaching Senior and Junior High English Language Arts, Religion and Aboriginal Studies.
My teaching philosophy consists of treating students as individuals, and doing everything I can to meet their needs. It includes keeping parents involved and up to date, while holding students to standards that will help them excel in their education.
I'm excited to be part of the educational team with parents and students.
