JPII Advance Acting presents "We Open Tomorrow Night"

Get ready for theatrical chaos at its finest with We Open Tomorrow Night by Michael Wehrli — a comedy that proves putting on a play is hard… and putting on a play about putting on a talent show is absolute mayhem.

This wildly self-aware farce drops you into a rehearsal that is supposedly just hours away from opening. The students are attempting to stage a “serious” talent show. The problem? They can’t get through thirty seconds without something going spectacularly wrong.

And just when you think the chaos has peaked — surprise! It hasn’t. Because this isn’t just a rehearsal gone wrong. It’s a production of a talent show within a production. Theatre inception at its most ridiculous. The stage manager clings to a clipboard like it’s a life raft. Every attempt at professionalism is immediately and enthusiastically destroyed. It’s incredibly hard to make something look this bad on purpose. The interruptions are choreographed. The awkward pauses are calculated. The “ridiculous student performances” are carefully crafted chaos.

If you’ve ever been in a school talent show, survived a rehearsal meltdown, this show is for you.

Tickets are available at the School office for $5 each !!
